About Ferrell Crafts
My name is Lesley (a.k.a., Ferrell Crafts) and I am a baker and artist based in Washington State. I specialize in prints and stickers of my hand-painted original or digitally-drawn artworks, whimsical jewelry, and embroidered or dyed wearable goods. My art often incorporates nostalgic elements from my childhood in Seattle and on Orcas Island, as well as fairytale-inspired themes. I incorporate upcycled materials in many of my creations to help eliminate unnecessary waste. I am always finding new mediums that I enjoy, so the list of crafts that I make is ever-expanding.
My Creative Process
For my crafts, I try to source from thrift shops, yard sales, and local independent art supply stores. I like finding things that maybe won't be used and reimagining them. For example, I found a box of forgotten floppy disks at work and decided to paint them since they make a great canvas. From there, I turned them into magnets and sold them at my local art markets.
